Title: Compliance Oversight & Monitoring Manager

Location: Richmond VA

POSITION SUMMARY: The Compliance Oversight & Monitoring Manager will be responsible for gathering information from Indivior’s risk assessment process and implementing the monitoring and mitigation plan. This will include documenting efforts in monitoring reports and tools to assist the organization in implementing its effective corporate compliance program. The position will also be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large volumes of data to facilitate the communication of key insights and findings to key stakeholders and business partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Assist the VP, Corporate Compliance implement a monitoring program that helps to ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations and guidance (such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, OIG Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, PhRMA Code, FDCA and PDMA) and helps to detect and prevent fraud.
• Monitor field commercial, medical affairs and managed markets transactions, activities, and processes in order to assess compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure that the company satisfies its legal and regulatory obligations and other requirements or guidelines.
• Perform reviews to assure that business activities and transactions are consistent with company compliance guidance and that they conform to policies and procedures.
• Provide input to Corporate Compliance Coordinator in updating compliance databases, dashboards, tracking tools and auditing tools as needed.
• Assists in preparation for all external audits or other reviews of systems or processes.
• Participate in internal investigations conducted by Corporate Compliance, in partnership with other functional areas; prepare initial investigation summary reports.
• Assist or participate in external inquiries or investigations through process and data analysis
• Collect, analyze and prepare reports required for senior management, regulators and other interested bodies.
• Partner with departments to develop efficient mechanisms to respond to common requests
• Perform systematic corporate-wide compliance monitoring audits focused on training requirements, promotional and medical affairs activities
• Assist with corrective action implementation
• Identifying and implementing enhanced monitoring controls
• Making recommendations to senior leadership for training and/or other mechanisms to mitigate risk or improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance program


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Undergraduate degree required


Experience: 5-7 years of previous compliance experience or related experience, such as working in sales, marketing, or healthcare compliance role. Experience in Health Care Compliance or Regulatory Affairs is preferred

Travel: 40-60% of time, as needed under direction of VP, Corporate Compliance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of and experience with laws, regulations and industry guidance that affect the pharmaceutical industry including OIG and PhRMA guidelines, healthcare standard operating procedures, federal Sunshine act, federal state marketing disclosure laws, and state price reporting statutes
